JERRY KALINSKI 1949 - 2014 With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Jerry Kalinski on October 5, 2014 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Frances, and stepmother Jennie. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 42 years Lillian (nee Slipchuk); his three sons: Curtis (Elisa) and their children Lydia and Samuel, Kevin (Lisa) and their children Seth and Emily, and Ryan (Kaitlyn). He is also survived by his brother Leonard (Mercy), as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jerry had his pilot's license before his driver's license. He had a great passion for aviation, and spent most of his life flying. He retired from Air Canada where he worked in Maintenance. He also worked as a crop duster, which he continued to this day. He loved to teach his beloved sons all about his passions, especially flying. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Jerry's memory to "Faith to Live by" TV Ministry, Box 426, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2H6. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Our deepest sympathy at this time of sadness. Jerry has left behind much wisdom, love and harmony; and many beautiful memories for all that knew him.
