CLARENCE WILFORD TODD October 24, 1926 - October 7, 2014 It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Clarence, surrounded by his family, 17 days short of his 88th birthday, at the Selkirk and District General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory, his wife Pauline, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, two sisters and two life long friends. He worked 40 years at the Manitoba Rolling Mill. Retiring in 1991, he dedicated his time to camping and fishing at his favourite lake. He loved dancing, bowling and playing cards. The family would like to thank Dr. K. Bernstein and team at the Health Sciences Centre, the Paramedics who attended and the doctors and staff at Selkirk and District General Hospital. Honouring his wishes, there will be no formal service. A private family memorial will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4. • To: Clarence's four daughters. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your father. My name is Myron Masnyk and for the past 37 years, I've lived in Mississauga, ON. I hope you may remember me. Back in the late 1960's, my late wife, Patricia Masnyk worked with your mother Lorraine at the mental hospital. We became very good friends. I've just been looking at a photograph of Clarence holding our newborn son, Robert, in about October 1971. One evening while visiting at your home in Selkirk, Clarence and I challenged one another...standing at the kitchen sink, we each ate a whole green pepper! Sometime later, we attended the wedding of his eldest daughter. May he rest in peace. Myron Masnyk - Posted by: Myron Masnyk (Friend) on: Oct 11, 2014
