Born: Oct 26, 1947
Date of Passing: Oct 11, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA SHRYL HOLODRYGA (nee RYBAK) October 26, 1947 - October 11, 2014 The world has lost a sweet, kind soul over Thanksgiving. A beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, Linda Holodryga passed quickly and peacefully due to health problems at her home in Brandon, Manitoba. Although she suffered chronic pain, illness and discomfort, she met her battles head-on with quiet strength, dignity and courage. Linda was blessed with a caring and loving attitude to others and often tried to help others despite her own challenges. Her bravery, endurance and will to live are an inspiration to us all. Linda was a dreamer, an artist and creator at heart. She left behind beautiful oil paintings and creative floral arrangements. She loved to travel when she could and she enjoyed these times immensely. Like her mother, Sophie, Linda loved the simple pleasures in life, such as gardening, cooking, visiting and family get-togethers. Her home-cooked dinners were delicious!! Linda leaves to mourn, Peter, her husband of 46 years, a cherished son, Chad and his wife, Amanda, her heart-broken sister, Genevie and husband, Doug, Peter's family, many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Her parents, Frank and Sophie Rybak, brothers, Ed and Orville, and infant sister, Vivian have embraced and welcomed her into heaven. Her sister-in-law, Marion and her parents-in-law, John and Nettie Holodryga will greet her there.
