Prayers will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gimli. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 113-7th Avenue in Gimli, Manitoba. Longer obituary to follow. I will never forget when my sister Marilyn and I stayed with Jonas our niece Judy at Jonas's house in Gimli and we used played with the dog, Duke. Jonas was a very generous host. My deepest condolences to the Johnson family. I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Jonas when he was at the Riverton Clinic many years ago.
