Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENN FONTAINE (DOUGHTY) It is with great sadness that we share our loss of Glenn Fontaine (Doughty) 52, of Winnipeg MB who passed away suddenly on October 13, 2014. Glenn is survived by his wife Claudia, his daughter Brianna, his mother Laurette (Eugene) his mother-in-law Maria and father-in- law Tom, his sisters, Shelley (Bernie), Darlene (Ollie), brothers; Dennis (Debbie), Tom (Paula), his brothers-in-law, Tom, Liam, sisters-in-law, Piera and Donna (Mark) and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews whom he cherished. Glenn loved fishing with his brother Dennis, camping at St. Malo and cooking was a passion of his. A number of years were served working for the correctional institution as a trades instructor. His biggest pride was his wife and daughter. He loved watching Brianna grow into the beautiful young lady she is today, his undying love for his wife was second to none. An afternoon in celebration of Glenn's life will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre, 4000 Portage Avenue. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Irma and I extend our condolences to you Claudia and Brianna on this sad event as we all lose our buddy, dad, lover, friend, as the case may be. It is always harder for those left behind due to our lack of understanding about the hereinafter. My true belief is that Glenn is now out of harms way and in a much better place where there is no sickness. When I met Glenn, it was a number of years ago when Norm Hegland asked me to take a friend and him fishing, crabbing to be precise, and fortunately we did very well indeed and Glenn cooked them up and we all had a great feed while I got to know a new friend in Glenn. Apparently Glenn was impressed with the catch as I heard from Norm that he was talking about it weeks later. Life must go on as we will all miss Glenn. Our Love to all... Dear Claudia, Brianna, Laurette and Familes: We were very saddened to hear of the loss of Glenn. He was a tremendous Father, Husband, Son, and a special Nephew and Friend to me. Claudia, it was so nice to hear you say that Glenn reminisced over the years of our growing up together and the fun adventures that we shared. Grandpa Andre and Grandma Eveline were such an important part of Glenn's life, and I know that they are now all together. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Dear Claudia. I was very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and although I don't know you except through our connection through school, it does not matter, for at a time like this you need to know from close or far that I hold you and your family in my thoughts very much at this time. - Posted by: Carol Paci (work ) on: Oct 16, 2014
