Donna and I will will never forget the lovely afternoon and evening we spent on Easy Street with Marjorie and Earl after conducting a Worship Workshop at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Kenora. We had a fine lunch overlooking the Winnipeg River served by Marjorie. Earl lit his pipe and had a grand conversation about all things relevant and not. Unfortunately we have two funerals to attend this afternoon, so we will not be there. Thanks Marjorie. May the angels escort you into paradise; at your coming, may the martyrs receive you and bring you into the holy city, Jerusalem. May the chorus of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, once a poor man, may you have eternal rest. Don and Donna Engel - Posted by: Don and Donna Engel () on: Oct 19, 2014

Marjorie was a formative inspiration in my life as we worked together at Children's Hospital. Marjorie was an exceptional story-teller, and a hope filled presence to all whom she encountered. I sincerely hope that the many stories of her life will provide comfort and hope to her family and all who loved her. She will be deeply missed. - Posted by: Carol Fletcher (friend) on: Oct 17, 2014
