Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLE JESSIE SPIVAK Carole Jessie Spivak entered into eternal rest, Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Grace Hospital. A small private gathering was held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre on Friday, October 17. Carole was born on December 8, 1938. She was predeceased by her brother Barry, mother Gladys, and father Tommy McBride. Carole loved cooking, baking, fashion, music and visiting with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife and wonderfully loving mother. Her strength and dedication to her family were second to none. Carole leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Roy Spivak; sister, Dorothy McBride; daughters, Leona (Scott) Ormiston and Barb (John) Mann; son, Dave Spivak; and grandchildren, Ruth and Iain Ormiston, and Nicole and Jodie Mann. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. I am so very sorry to hear about your mom Dave. It is such a loss. I want to send you a BIG hug....and I will always have lots of them for you if you ever need one. You've always been a special person in the Hannay family friend group. I feel strongly that your mom will always be with you....looking out for you. I have had some surreal experiences regarding my own mother who passed many years ago. They are with us. Please know that I care so very much.
