She played piano and enjoyed knitting items for all who came to visit. Her door was always open to everyone and visiting with family or friends was very important to her. All who knew her will miss her dearly. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Sunnywood Care Home staff and residents for their kindness and care during her stay there. A celebration of her life will take place at Gilbart Funeral Home on Thursday, October 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Neill Stitt officiating. A viewing will be held prior to the service. Interment to follow immediately at the Victoria Beach Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Farewell to an interesting and beautiful person. I used to chat with Marge when I played the piano at the Sunnywood Manor Wednesday church service. We always had something to share. Marge probably knows as well as anyone how to find the good blueberry patches along the North Star Trail. I wish we could have talked some more about the old days. We will all miss her. - Posted by: Sam Klippenstein (Friend) on: Oct 30, 2014
