Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I met Dietrich through my dad. My dad and Dietrich ate their meals together. I found Dietrich to be a very nice and gentle man, so full of life. My dad used to tell my family that Dietrich was his best buddy and that Dietrich put my dad's bib on for him at every meal because when my dad put his own bib on it would always fall off. The first words that my dad had said when I told him that Dietrich has passed, he said oh no, he said, you know he did not miss one time, he always put on my bib for me. My dad is going to miss Dietrich very much. Please accept my sincerest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Gerri Mason (My dad is at Donwood and he was an acquaintance of Dietrich) on: Nov 05, 2014

  • I met Mr. Wiebe through his son Robbie for whom I had the pleasure to work for/with. Mr. Wiebe was a gentle and very kind man with love for his family. I would like to send my condolences to the whole Wiebe Family. - Posted by: Debbie Cobbett (Friend of Robbie's) on: Oct 30, 2014

  • I loved Dietrich very much, he was such a sweet gentle spirit. If I needed help, whether it be folding towels or making sandwiches, he was always willing to help me out. I loved listening to all his stories of his life's adventures. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Peace and Love Kelly :) - Posted by: Kelly Harris (Former Recreation Facilitator At Donwood ) on: Oct 30, 2014
