Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • We just heard of Joe's passing and our hearts are deeply saddened for your family's loss. I remember as new immigrants from Hungary, the get-togethers we used to have at my parent's house. Lots of great memories of our families celebrating events as we grew up. Sadly we lost touch but the wonderful memories of Joe and your family will always be cherished. • So very sad to hear that Joe has passed away. I send my deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Joe for quite a few years and can truly say he was the best at his job. He always strived for excellence and was always dedicated to his responsibilities. I enjoyed his company and many fishing trips we had together. He was truly compassionate and caring to all he worked with. He will be remembered by all he touched. - Posted by: Garry Lemay (co-worker/friend) on: Nov 04, 2014

  • I was deeply saddened today when I heard that Joe had passed away... and I am so sorry for your loss. In the midst of my sadness many fond memories came to mind, everything from work to fishing trips, and even visiting and checking out his big garden. As I became a foreman at Qualico I learned a lot from Joe for which I will always be grateful. Whenever his name comes up it is obvious to see how well respected he was as a foreman. We may have called him "Little Joe" because he was small in stature, but make no mistake about it, out in the field as a foreman he was a giant! He will be sadly missed by many. - Posted by: Henry Regier (Worked with Joe at Qualico) on: Nov 01, 2014

  • Remembering the fond memories of Mr. Szabo when I was married to first husband (Ted) and friends with Les (Elaine) and Kathy. Deepest sympathy to the family. - Posted by: June Neal (old friend) on: Nov 01, 2014
