RUTH SHIRLEY MENZUL (KOSHELKA) March 3, 1950 - November 4, 2014 After a struggle with various medical conditions and a long courageous battle with breast cancer, which she fought bravely right to the very end. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother, sister, aunt, baba, and friend. Ruth will be forever remembered by her loving children, daughter Shawna (Brad), son Curtis (Tara), and her grandchildren Emma, Neveah and baby girl Menzul. Sisters Vivian (Steve), Anne (Alex), Tillie (Bill), Marie and brother Ray (Rosemary), along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by other extended family and many close and dear friends. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Edward Peter Menzul (2007), her parents Michael and Helen Koshelka. Ruth worked for various companies throughout her life. She began her career at the Canadian Wheat Board in 1967. In 1986 she found employment with Manitoba Telecom Services until her retirement in 2005. During her duration with MTS she worked in various positions and departments including Corporate Information System, Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Property Services. Ruth took pleasure in knitting, sewing, cake decorating, flower arranging and camping. In the last fifteen years she developed a passion for working on her family tree and scrapbooking. She took a lot of pride in this. Ruth also loved to spend time with her two precious granddaughters; Emma and Neveah. She was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter baby Menzul. Ruth was kind-hearted with a sense of humour. She was always willing to lend a hand whenever she could. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. • Shawna, Brad and Families, I was very sorry to learn about your mother and grandmother's passing. I knew Ruth from her association with the Genealogy Society. She was always such a delightful lady, full of energy, and always willing to share her ideas about genealogical research.
