LUCIEN BEAUDETTE The family of Lucien Beaudette sadly announces his peaceful passing on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 93 years of age with family by his side. Lucien was born in Saint-Jean-Baptiste on February 11, 1921 the second of 10 children born to Joseph Beaudette and Marie Anne Sabourin. He farmed most of his life with his brother, later joined by their sons until he retired and moved to St. Boniface. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Liliane (daughter-in-law), Leonne (Fred), Diane, Raymond, Norman (Marie), Michel, Rachelle (Ben), 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three sisters as well as the numerous members of his extended Labelle family. He was predeceased by his wife Denise Valcourt, his second wife Alice Labelle, his son Gilbert, a special friend Suzanne Augert, four brothers and two sisters. Thank you to CancerCare at St. Boniface Hospital and Riverview Palliative Care who cared for our dad. Prayers will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 followed by a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or a charity of your choice.
