Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY MARTENS On Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Concordia Hospital, Henry Martens died at the age of 91 years. He was born in Neuendorf, Ukraine to Peter and Margaretha Martens on May 6, 1923. He was predeceased by his first wife Anni and his second wife Elizabeth, three brothers and two sisters. Henry was a long-time member of the First Mennonite Church on Notre Dame Avenue. Henry is survived by two brothers Gerhard (Olga) of Germany, John (Erna) of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with interment in Mennonite Memorial Gardens. Viewing prior to the service.
