Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL JAMES ROMANO October 1, 1946 - November 4, 2014 On Tuesday, November 4, after a valiant battle with mesothelioma, Mike peacefully passed away with Lana by his side. Mike was predeceased by his parents Jim and Jean Romano, sisters Marie and Phyllis, and by good friend Babe Pachkowsky. He is survived by his children Chris (Joan), Candace (Vern), Lana (Tom) and his grandchildren Jonathon, Matthew, Lenny and Levi. He is also survived by his siblings Barbara, Bruce (Joan), Evelyn (Gary) and many nieces and nephews. Mike was born and raised in Pine Falls, MB. Through the years he lived in many different places, eventually returning home. If you asked him what he did for a living, he could tell you everything'. He believed in working hard and put his heart and soul into everything he did. Mike was thankful for the life he had and all he was able to see and do. A Come & Go Celebration of Michael's life will be held at the Papertown Motor Inn, 34 Walleye Lane, Pine Falls, MB on Sunday, November 23, 2014, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation may be made in his memory.
