MARIA PENTELIUK (nee SANDUL) January 10, 1924 - November 7, 2014 It is with loving memory we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Penteliuk, beloved wife of George on Friday, November 7, 2014. She is the last surviving member of her family, predeceased by her parents, brothers, sister, and husband George and son Bill. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter-in-law Thelma, stepgrandson Ken Powney, nieces and nephews and family friends. She was a true pioneer farm wife and spent most of her life living a quiet happy life on their farm in Arbakka and later years in Vita Township and Vita Personal Care. Mary and George enjoyed living and working on their farm and were blessed with one cherished son Bill. They were country people always ready to feed with home cooking and warmly welcome family when they visited. We would like to express our gratitude to Vita Personal Care Home for the excellent care they provided. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Father Miron Pozniak officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
