Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULIETTE PHANEUF (nee HEBERT) Peacefully at Actionmarguerite - Taché Centre on November 15, 2014 at the age of 86 years, Juliette Phaneuf passed away. Juliette is lovingly remembered by her daughters Louise, Monique, and sons Robert (Liz), Denis (Lisette) and Luc, 12 grandchildren, Antoine, Michelle, Brigitte, Vincent, Christina, Marco, Michael, Darrell, Justin, Stephanie, Jenna & Tiana and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Camille, sisters Rita (Jorge), Marguerite (Emile) and grandchildren Lance and Colin. Juliette was a devoted wife and mother and was able to touch many people's lives. She had a strong belief in her faith and will be truly missed by her family, prayer groups and bingo friends. The children would like to thank Dr. Mehta for the many years of care and all of the departments of Taché Centre for the excellent care and compassion given to our Mom. Prayers will be said at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. on Monday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25 at the St. Boniface Cathedral. Private interment to follow. As our mother Juliette had a special love for animals, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spirit of Hope Rescue, 790 Taché Avenue Winnipeg, MB R2H 2C4. So sorry to hear of your loss. Sorry I didn't attend the prayers or the memorial service but just heard today of your mom's passing. My thoughts are with you all. My sincere condolences to all the family. Madame Phaneuf (as she was so affectionately known) was such an amazing neighbor and friend. She was very kind, gentle and had a heart of gold. We are all so sorry to hear of Juliette's passing. Sincere condolences to Louise, Robert, Monique, Denis, and Luc as well as all your families. Your mom was a wonderful lady. She was so kind to everyone she met and never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. Her strong faith in God sustained her throughout her life and when times were tough for her children, or people she knew were struggling, she just prayed harder for them.
