• Friends for many years, but for the last few, we just got in touch once a year to have lunch and celebrate our birthdays - two days apart. I knew something had to be seriously wrong when he didn't get in touch this year, because he was the most reliable person I ever met, it didn't occur to me at first to look here, not possible, too young. • Kevin was the laughable, lovable leprechaun that many of us adored. You cannot put 35 years of great memories into a few words. • Kevin - I thought of you often in spite of the years and the miles of ocean that separate us and I hoped our paths would cross again one day. When I think of you I think of canoeing on the lake and of your love of nature and geology. I will remember fondly the parties and laughter we shared and the nicknames we gave each other. Nor will I forget sitting in your parents' basement sharing a beer and wondering out loud how safe it was to keep so much black powder down there... your response was unrepeatable...
