GIROLAMO (GERRY) SCHILLACI January 18, 1933 - December 16, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, uncle and friend on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Gerry's memory will be forever cherished by his son Joe, Leonard, Paul (Terry) and Tony; grandchildren, Nick, Carla, Krystylynn, Daric, Jonathan, Joel, Kyle, and Jessica. Gerry was predeceased by his wife Sonia; Parents Salvatore and Francesca; his brother Salvatore and his sister Agostina. He was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily and moved to Canada with his family in 1952. Gerry married Sonia in September of 1958 and worked as a tile setter his whole life. He enjoyed traveling, was passionate about his garden, cooking and loved spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Avenue, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Angel Mausoleum to follow with reception at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in remembrance of Gerry Schillaci.
