Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLA MEIER February, 13, 1938 Peacefully on December 26, 2014 Ella joined her husband Gerd in everlasting peace. Ella is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Martina (Roger), son, Juergen (Arlene), grandchildren Miranda Meier, Christine Meier, Adam Perrier, Mandy (Dustin) Gacek, and great-grandchild Tyren Meier. Also survived by her sisters Olga Stachowski, Winnipeg and Berta Niegisch, Germany, together with many nieces and nephews. Mom and Dad immigrated to Canada in 1961 to start a new life. After Dad's passing in 1981, Mom lived her life on her own as a strong, independent woman. She so enjoyed her many long walks in Birds Hill Park and many other places in nature where she felt at peace with life. She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchild to the fullest. Rest in peace Mom, Oma. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2015 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway.
