Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Garry Mennonite Brethren Church, 1771 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg. Viewing at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, on January 1, 2015 from 7:008:00 p.m.

So very sorry to hear of Jake's passing. Although I had the privilege of getting to know Jake for just a short time it was a real honour. Jake was a quiet man in the group but when he did say something it was with significance. Jake would often speak of his latest grandchildren, he was very proud of his family and that is who he would usually talk about during our coffee time.
