LINDA ANN DORGE February 9, 1958 - December 23, 2014 It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and incredible friend Linda Ann Dorge. After a courageous battle with cancer, Linda passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side on December 23, 2014. Linda was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Deloraine and Camille Dorge. She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate Gabriel, daughter Kyla Ray (Shane), son Clifton, and her grandsons whom she affectionately referred to as "her boys", Grady and Jaxson Ray, and Wyatt and Holton. Linda cherished every moment with these little men and was so proud to be their grandmother, regretful that she was not able to retire and spend her life watching them grow. Also left to mourn are Linda's parents Ruth and Phil Wardle, brother Alan Wardle, and sisters Lorraine Wardle and Darlene Flett (Darrell), along with her brothers and sisters-in-law, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends, and of course her beloved dogs Leila and Abby. To say that you will be missed is an understatement. During your 33 years at Pollard Banknote and 56 years on this planet you made bonds with people that will never be forgotten. Your passion to help others was exemplified through your volunteer work with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program and the visits you and Abby made to the St. Norbert Personal Care Home which put smiles on countless faces. As a talented gardener, your yard amazed and uplifted everyone who stepped foot in it. The friendships and memories you made with the car club will never be forgotten and your presence on road trips and at car shows will be greatly missed. As partners in life, Linda and Gabriel overcame many struggles and their accomplishments were numerous, theirs was a love envied by many. Linda improved the lives of every person she came in contact with and made so many great lasting impressions. Linda was a kind soul and the countless condolences and messages that have been received by the family in the days since her passing, demonstrate the impact she has left on so many. We love you and miss you Linda! You live on in every one of us! We would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the DeSalaberry District Hospital for the wonderful work you do and the care you provided our wife and mother. Special thanks to Lucy and Jane for taking care of Linda's "girls". A come and go celebration of Linda's life will be held on January 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Assiniboine Park Conservatory, 15 Conservatory Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda's honour to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the DeSalaberry District Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit in St. Pierre, Manitoba. We've been thinking about all of you with love this past while. The last time we were at Gabriel and Linda's her lilies were in full bloom. I often think of Linda and her beautiful yard when my few lilies are blooming. She was always kind, welcoming, and smiling whenever we visited. We will miss her. - Posted by: Larry and Glenda Lee () on: Feb 11, 2015

Gentle and sweet....honest and kind.....we miss her and will continue to. We will miss her laugh and smiling face and her navigational skills on our car trips. She always got us to our destination and always found the best hotels at the end of our day. In her honor, we will carry on as she would have wanted. We will continue to travel and enjoy life and to "stop and smell the roses" along the way. We plan to take Gabe with us and keep in line. We will know that we have a personal guardian angel with us on our journeys. We will pray for her children and grandchildren... God Bless.....xoxoxoxoxoxoxo - Posted by: Karen and Robin Carruthers (Friends) on: Jan 22, 2015

Gabe and family, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I remember you both in school and how very sweet it was to see you both walk together when we practised and played basketball at home and away. I ran into Linda a few years ago and she had not changed, still the happy and kind person I grew up with. Also, my sincere condolences to the Wardle family on the loss of their child and sister. May the wonderful memories of Linda help you all during this difficult time. - Posted by: Carole ( Laurencelle) Baldwin (School friend) on: Jan 05, 2015
