Born: Jul 30, 1955
Date of Passing: Dec 29, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH BRUCE PERRY July 30, 1955 - December 29, 2014 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved brother, Kenn Perry. Predeceased by his parents, Stephanie and Bernard, and sister Susan, Kenn leaves his brother Kirk, sister Alison Askewe (Robert), sister Deborah, niece Sarah Perry, great-nephew Isaac, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Kenn will be remembered for his great sense of humour, love of music, writing and singing, and his proficiency in sports (primarily hockey and soccer). He was an appreciator of classic film and art, particularly sculpture. Kenn was a graduate of Vincent Massey Collegiate and the University of Winnipeg (BPsych). Kenn knew how to entertain, how to inform, how to make us laugh. His spirit will not be forgotten; he is forever in our hearts. Cremation will take place at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre. There will be a celebration of Kenn's life held in Winnipeg later in the year. Special thanks from our family to Linda Omori, Janice Dryden, Roger Rempel and to Melody and Ted Crane. Kenn was both charming and fun to be with...when he was not obsessing over a word in a game of scrabble which he took quite seriously. He had a "romantic streak" that was strangely endearing, as one day he told me with flushed cheeks that he had left a poem for a weary but kind young waitress when he was having tea downtown one afternoon...after seeing his podiatrist. I knew and loved him well, and I will miss him...always. - Posted by: Constance Cecile Armour (Close personal relationship over a fifteen year period during the 1980s and 1990s.) on: Apr 09, 2015
