  • Tom, Gord and families our thoughts are with you at this time. Losing a parent is difficult regardless of how old we are, and losing two so close together is so hard to bear and accept. • Sid was one of my earliest coaches in hockey and baseball in Transcona. I appreciated his approach to sport and the relationship he created with the athletes he coached. Sid also contributed to the growth of the Maple Leaf Community Club and the "Mapes" became a cornerstone of the community for young and old. Sid left a legacy for many to follow. - Posted by: Bill Morgan (friend of the family) on: Jan 05, 2015

  • IN TOTAL SHOCK - HE WILL NOW BE WITH CONNIE AND THEIR TWO SONS - SIDNEY WAS A HAPPY GO LUCKY PERSON. ALWAYS THERE TO PITCH IN AND HELP IN ANY WAY HE COULD. I ALWAYS SAW HIM HAPPY - HE LOVED LIFE - FISHING - AND ENJOYED HIS FAMILY. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY THE FAMILY AND ALL WHO KNEW HIM. SIDNEY REST IN PEACE - Posted by: SANDRA CHRUSCH (FRIEND TO THE FAMILY / DONNA KOSHELANYK / COUSIN) on: Jan 05, 2015
