Dear Marge and Gord First of all we were so shocked to receive the news of your passing Gord. How could such a special time and day end so tragically. Dale remembers many days with you on the job at Agra CSP Foods Canamara and Bunge. Some good and some not so good. But we both remember all the good times at the Christmas partys and where ever we would run into you both. I especially remember the special smile and hugs I would get when ever I ran into him down town at the farmers market or on the street. He always had time for a visit. We are so please that you guys had the time to spend together Traveling and going to your craft shows. Always together!! Such special times, but now so hard for you to go on alone Marge. We were never on each others door step but Please remember that we are always here for you if you need anything at all don't hesitate to call We know you will have many sad days ahead ,but you don't have to be alone . Gord was a kind and loving man an we will always remember him with that smile and twinkle in his eye Ridding his Harley into the sunset. To Gordon, Those special memories of you will always bring a smile if only I could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do. You always meant so very much and always will do too. The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain but forever in my heart until we meet again. Gord's sudden passing is a huge shock and loss to the community of Nipawin. Gord was a great guy. He loved life, enjoyed having a good time, and not once in all the years I knew him did he ever say a bad word about anyone. His soft spoken tone and genuine respect endeared him to all aquaintences. Gord was community minded which was evident when he became a volunteer of The Saskatchewan Premier's Walleye Cup. His passion for the event, turned into a chairmanship. He helped to bring The Premier's Cup to be one of the top walleye fishing tournaments in Canada. We had some great laughs over the years and we teased Gord about his Nipawin Biker Gang. On behalf of my family we'd like to wish Our sincere condolences to Marge and Gord's entire family. A gentleman to be proud of! (Please check The Premier's Walleye Cup site there are stories and pictures of Gord) - Posted by: Doug & Sherry Hidlebaugh (Friend) on: Jan 07, 2015

I had not seen Gord in quite a few years and by chance I bumped into him at the craft show at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. We had a very good conversation that will be just that much more meaningful to me now. He talked proudly about his family and friends. Gordy was a prince of a man with an abundance of great words, full of respect and kindness, always. From the great fishing trips to Jed Lake in northern Saskatchewan, to the comradery doing craft shows, to visits where we attempted to solve the world's issues, we honored his presence . Added to that of course were his culinary skills that surpassed one's expectations. Stef and I will miss you. dear friend. Marge, sorry we cannot be with you during this time of sorrow but we know that God will give you the strength you will need. - Posted by: john & stephanie Karalash (friends) on: Jan 05, 2015
