I'm honored to call Norman a friend and colleague. I have known Norm for over 20 years, first as a customer then as a fellow employee. Norm was a professional in the way he handled his business and his approach to people. Norm taught us all a lot about perseverance and a positive attitude in business and in life. He was a mentor and friend to all of us at Star, and we will miss him very much. We send our heartfelt condolences to Betty, Jason, Greg and families from all of us at Star. - Posted by: Jim Phillips (worked with Norman at Star ) on: Jan 07, 2015

I first worked for Norm about 30 years ago. My family was just starting to grow and he hired me on a casual basis. The extra money helped a lot. Norm and I stayed in touch throughout the years until about 10 years ago, he approached me to work for him at Star. I accepted his offer a couple of years later and have never looked back at that decision. Norm was a great mentor to me and I will miss him a lot. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Andy Nytepchuk (Friend and colleague) on: Jan 07, 2015
