JOAN ADOLPH (nee KASZOWSKI) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joan Adolph (nee Kaszowski) on January 2, 2015. She will be dearly missed by her family: Ron, Brian (Tammy) and Allan (Cheryl). Grandma Joan's grandchildren: Kira, Tianna, Sam, Ben, Justin and Jamie and her great- grandchildren Jayde and Rylan meant the world to her. She was their #1 fan in everything they did. Joan was predeceased by her husband Roger and her parents Anton and Helen Kaszowski. She was born and raised in Beausejour, MB. After she and Roger were married, they lived in Beausejour, MB and Lethbridge, AB and settled in Thompson, MB where they raised their three boys. At the time of her passing, Joan was living in Ste. Anne, MB. Joan often spent weekends with Brian and Tammy and she loved being surrounded by her grandchildren. She taught Sam how to iron his Air Cadets uniform and Jayde looked forward to GJ's piano lessons. Ben made her laugh with his intellectual goofiness. GJ and Rylan loved to put a puzzle together. She was so proud to see Jamie graduate from college and having Justin with her for what would be her last Christmas. She looked forward to Allan and Cheryl's visits every summer and her road trips with Ron. Grandma's fridge proudly displayed Tianna's drawings and she always loved to bake with Kira. Joan was very involved with the church throughout her life. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League and played the organ regularly for mass. A celebration of Joan's life will be held at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Centrale Avenue, Ste. Anne, MB., on Friday, January 9, 2015, beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030
