ELMA REIMER December 20, 1924 - January 9, 2015 On January 9, 2015, after a brief illness, Elma Reimer was called home to meet her heavenly Father. She will be sadly missed by her children: Marilyn O'Hara of Kenora, Judith Larsen of Washington DC, Robert and Sylvia Reimer of Steinbach and Susan and Kel Zacharias of Winnipeg; her nine granddaughters and their families: Erin O'Hara, Meghan and Rick Hermann, Morgen, Jared, Addison, Catherine and Bailey Carillo, Allison Larsen, Taylor Larsen, Mandy and Matthew Dirks, Jessica Reimer, Jill, Chris, Rollin and Mortimer Sawatzky and Amy Zacharias. Also left to mourn are her brothers, Milton Penner and Gilbert (Heather) Penner, sister-in-law Brigitte Reimer, and brothers-in-law: John (Ruth) Barkman, Art (Wilma) Kroeker, Chris Christenson and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Rollin Reimer, son-in-law Thorbjorn Ruud Larsen II, her parents Peter and Elizabeth Penner, sisters: Martha, Adina and Joanne; father and mother-in-law Jacob and Justina Reimer, sisters-in-law: Marlene, Viola, Romelda and Kathy; brothers-in-law: Morris, Edmar and Wesley; and niece Beverly. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave., Steinbach, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery.
