BARBARA WRIGHT 1946-2015 Barb passed away January 14 at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by sister Debbie (Jane), Aunt Margi of Calgary and several cousins. She was predeceased by parents Harold and Minnie Wright. Barb was born in Winnipeg and resided here all her life. In 1967 she graduated from Children's Hospital School of Nursing as an RN. She was employed at Children's (Health Sciences Centre) from graduation until retirement. She was extremely devoted to care of the children and their families. Barb enjoyed pets, traveling, reading and prided herself in keeping up with current affairs. We express our gratitude to staff at Grace Hospital for care in the past month and a half. Also thanks to friends, Diane and Lorraine for their care and concern, special thank you to Evelyn for her support and friendship through the years. There will be no service. Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Babs and I became friends in 1949 when I was allowed to cross from my side of the street to hers. We played together. Made pizzas every Tuesday. In 1967 I attended her grad. That same year she stood with me as a bridesmaid. When my parents were living I came to Wpg. every summer and Babs and I would go out for our visit. I will miss you dear friend. My husband Doug and my twin sister Bev join me in sending our condolences to you Debbie. - Posted by: Barbara[Robertson]Martin (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2015
