CLAUDE NOEL ALLARD
Date of Passing: Jan 17, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAUDE NOEL ALLARD 1948 - 2015 Following a lengthy illness on January 17, 2015, with his true love at his side, Claude Noel Allard passed away in Eriksdale, MB at the age of 66. Predeceased by his parents Noel and Marguerite (née Mougin) Allard. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Yvonne (née Leclerc), sons Todd (Colleen) Allard, Dwayne (Angie) Leclerc. Four grandchildren Tyler and Shawn Leclerc, Cassandra and Riel Allard. Brother Armand (Denise) Allard, Sisters Marcelle (Paul) Allary, Lorraine Chartrand, brother Alan (Karen) Edkins and numerous nieces and nephews. Above all things outside his family, Dad loved to dance, and he was darn good at it. Following his time with the Peace Corp where he served as a gunner with the PPCLI from 1968 to 1970, Claude worked as a commercial and industrial painter for over 40 years, making several friends along the way. He enjoyed following baseball (the old Expos were his favourite), horse racing, his beloved Leafs and again recently the hometown Jets. He even managed to sneak in the odd round of golf with family before his illness just would not allow it anymore. He cherished the time he was able to spend with family and friends, and was surrounded by those closest to him in his final days. A memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the St. Laurent Catholic Church. Prayers will be held before the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the St. Laurent cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Eriksdale Hospital, or a charity of one's choice. MACKENZIE FUNERAL HOME STONEWALL (204)467-2525 mackhome@mts.net

Dearest family, there are no words to ease the pain in your hearts, but know that he is now in a painfree world and we must cherish every memory good or bad as some day we will all have to go through that same path as Claude. With deepest sympathy and and God Bless you all and help to see this as a celebration of his life and not the end. Will always remember him as the finest dancer so let's waltz one more time for him.
