TIMOTHY (TIM) ERB May 26, 1964 - January 15, 2015 On Thursday, January 15, 2015, with his entire family by his side, Tim passed away at the age of 50 years. Tim will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Kristine, his adored children Molly, Jed and Misty, his father Doug and mother Marilyn, brothers Brad (Louise), Jamie (Cheryl), Derek (Erin), father-in-law Terry, brother-in-law Scott, sister-in-law Julie, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. Tim forever will be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, cherished son and best friend to his brothers. Tim grew up in Oak Bluff, Manitoba on the family farm. He attended school in Oak Bluff and in Sanford. He received his welding ticket from Red River Community College, and from there he started his lifelong farming career, spending winters working in the Artic oil fields for 15 years. In 1995, Tim and Kristine were married. They started their family and remained in Oak Bluff. Tim's passions were his family, and his love of farming and fishing. Tim's greatest characteristics were that he was extremely giving, loyal to a fault, and his wonderful sense of humour. Tim also liked to think of himself as the row crop specialist in the family. If you ever met Tim, you would never forget him. He would never say goodbye, he preferred to tell you to "take care". From everyone who loved him, Take Care dear Tim. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff that cared for Tim at the Victoria Hospital. "Remember me with smiles not tears For all the joy through all the years. Recall the closeness that was ours, A love as beautiful as a field of sunflowers." Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Starbuck on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Oak Bluff Cemetery to follow. The funeral reception will take place at the Oak Bluff Recreation Centre. Viewing will take place from 11:00 a.m. to service time. Condolences & Memories (21 entries)

  • Kristine, Molly & Jed, I don't know how you 3 feel for the loss of a husband, I do know how I felt when my father passed away. He was my dad & friend. I went through several feelings from devastation, hurt, why, sadness, anger, empty & lost. I know it's hard to even imagine that it can get easier. I can promise it does! In time the devastation, why, & anger will ease. Your not going to forget him, your still going to miss him. Be sad, hurt, feel empty & lost because he did everything with you. Mum is there for your everything, still do all the things you all had plans to do. He would want you to go. It's ok to have fun, dad wouldn't want you to stop doing all the things you enjoy! He is very proud of all of you as his wife, children, best friends {his family of 4}. He isn't there in body but he is with you in spirit. All the time everything you do, sometimes he will let you know & other time not! Just know he is. I don't know anything else I can say just know, everyone is there for all of you at anytime for anything. Don't be afraid to ask that's what family & friends do. I love you with all my heart, Aunt & Great Aunt Sue - Posted by: Sue Elledge (Kristine's Aunt {Minnesota}) on: Feb 15, 2015

  • Dear Kristine and family, I was shocked to learn of Tim's passing. Last time I saw Tim he was taking a break from combining to enjoy one of Kristine's gourmet dinners in a harvest field under a prairie sky. I'm sure that at moment Tim thought life was absolutely great. Not only was he going to savor a delicious meal but he felt the affection of a loving family. In addition he was surely thankful that the good Lord was providing excellent weather for threshing with a new smooth operating Caterpillar harvester. Please accept my sincerest condolences, Marcel Lacroix - Posted by: Marcel Lacroix (One of Kristine's many riding buddies) on: Jan 19, 2015
