Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBESSIE ROSE TURNER Bessie Rose Turner peacefully passed away at Concordia Hospital on January 15, 2015. Bessie was born on December 19, 1919 in Allendale, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward in 2001. Bessie was the youngest and only daughter of five children in her family. She raised five children. Wilma (deceased), Ray (Kathy), Anne (Larry), John (deceased) and Gina. She is survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of Bessie's life will be held at the Kingdom Hall on 937 Gateway Road at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23. Lindsay Bartosek will be officiating. Grandma was a great lady. She always cooked wonderful meals and took great care of us as children. Her house was always filled with love, laughter, and smells of wonderful food.
