I was sad to learn of Dr. Ferguson's death. He taught me as both an undergraduate and graduate student and also taught my late husband Cal Bristol in graduate school. He was such an outstanding professor and we were both so fortunate to have been mentored by him in our lives. My sympathy to his family. He will be missed. - Posted by: Norma A. I am very sorry to learn of Bob's death. However he lived a remarkably full, distinguished, and happy life. He was my wonderful research supervisor in 1959-60 (excellent Professor of Crystallography before then), and highly-esteemed mentor and friend subsequently. It was great to be present for the 60th wedding anniversary celebration in July 2009, and I'm so happy that a visit with Bob and Margaret could happen in November 2013.
