GLORIA PASESKA On January 19, 2015, Gloria Mildred Paseska (nee Bealey) left her physical being to continue her life journey with her husband Walter Nicholas Paseska who was her prince in a stunning uniform. Born and raised in La Tuque, Quebec, Gloria lived a full and beautiful life full of adventures and was a trail blazer in her own right. A proud veteran serving in the Second World War, an active Executive member of Alanon, as well as an advocate and supporter of woman pursuing a higher education through her volunteer work with the P.E.O. Organization. Contributions and accomplishments she was very proud of. Gloria was a world traveler having stepped foot on every continent whether it be by plane or her precious R.V., her travels landed her in beautiful Victoria, B.C., where she enjoyed many years, enjoying the special company of her loving friend Eric Black. Predeceased by her younger sisters, Bettie Allan and Evelyn Button, and left behind to carry on her love and flare for life are sister-in-law Nettie Dolski (Bernie), brother-in-law Tom Button, of Dryden, Ontario, and many nieces and nephews; daughter Linda Langevin (Ken), sons Barry Paseska (Beverly), Daniel, Kenny (Pam) and Gregory (Jan) and daughter-in-law Gail Paseska; grandchildren Nicole Owens (Troy), Bryce Langevin (Brie Henderson), Brent Paseska (Cheryl), Bradley Paseska (Sheila), Breanne Brand (Mike), Trisha, Stacey, Kelsey and Colt Paseska, Jason, Katherine and Ashley Paseska; along with numerous great-grandchildren, where Alexander and Everett Langevin will forever cherish the wonderful memories of having a great-grandmother who was so youthful in mind, body and spirit. Forever missed, not with sad hearts, but rather full of glowing warmth just like her spirit. Gloria you are once again the belle of the ball. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Victoria Hospital who treated Gloria with such dignity and respect during her last days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba P.E.O. Foundation through The Winnipeg Foundation or to the Pasieczka Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o 1142 Burrows Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2X 0S2. In keeping with Gloria's wishes, there will be no service, but a private interment at a later date. My condolences go out to Linda and Ken Langevin on the passing of Gloria Paseska. Gloria was a classy lady in everything she did. It was always a privilege for me to go to P.E.O. meetings at her beautiful home. I remember her exquisite flower arrangements.
