Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY ANN GRAY (HENLEY) November 6, 1924- January 19, 2015 Peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2015, mom passed away at the Grace Hospital. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband William Hector (Hec), her brothers Jack and Bill Henley as well as an infant sister. Left to cherish her memory are her children Brian (Bernice), Marjorie (Allan), Jacqueline (David), Gary (Darlene) and Glen (Nicole), as well as 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mom is also survived by her brother Bob and many nephews and nieces. In her early years mom worked for the war effort building airplane parts. Later, after raising her family, mom worked at Sears and the Department of Education. Mom also spent many days volunteering at the Grand Beach Community Club and the Heritage Victoria Community Club. Over the years mom developed a love of porcelain painting with many pieces displayed in our family homes. We will cherish the memory of all the great Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners that were hosted by mom and dad over the years. As per Dorothy's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date. We wish to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's name to your favourite charity. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Dot always had the coffee on and was interested in what you had to say. I still remember her 'spot' on the beach and her friendly smile. Her warm smile and love of her family will always be remembered. My thoughts are with you Gary and the rest of your family, I saw the memorial bench at Grand and memories flooded back. Dot was truly a Grand Beach icon!!! - Posted by: Valerie Holder (friend) on: Aug 12, 2015

Aunty Dorothy was so full of energy. I know that I come by that honestly! My heart goes out to all of my cousins and families. Uncle Bob is thinking of all of you at this time, too. Take care of each other and remember all the good times you all had together and cherish them. Love Susan. - Posted by: Susan Bosecke (nee Henley) (Niece ) on: Jan 24, 2015
