Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JEPPESEN 1919-2015 George Ove Jeppesen, 95 of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away peacefully during the quiet hours on the morning of Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Golden West Centennial Lodge after enduring a long battle with cancer. Born in Jutland, Denmark in 1919. His wife of nearly 55 years Alice Merle (nee Livingston) Jeppesen predeceased him by 10 days. He is also predeceased by his parents Johannes and Karen (Johanna) Jeppesen, his brother Morris, his brothers-in-law Ira Preston, Robert Virgin and Clarence Bebee and sister-in-law Judtih Banks. George is survived by his large family of loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also his sisters Ann Bebee, Joan Preston, Ruth Virgin and brothers Martin Jeppesen and Brian (Elfrida) Jeppesen and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express gratitude to the dedicated and loving staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for their wonderful ongoing care. The funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday, January 31 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Mona Denton officiating. A family interment will follow.
