I knew Mrs. Wyshnicki as the mother of Ken who was a classmate at Morse Place Jr. High and Kildonan East and as a member of the maintenance staff at KE. She always took the time to have a chat with me, something which continued many years later as I would take walks in the neighbourhood past her home on Simpson Avenue. She was very proud of her "Kenny" and kept me up to date on his career and family life. I missed those chats when she later moved from the neighbourhood. She was one of the most pleasant women I had ever met and particularly proud of her family, yard and flowers. My condolences to Ken, Laurette and their family on their loss.
