DOREEN (DONIE) VINETTE (nee LIGGINS) Suddenly but peacefully, with her family by her side, on January 23, 2015 just shy of her 83rd birthday. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Longer notice will follow in Saturday's edition of the Free Press. Doreen and her family have been a part of lives for too many years to count. To anyone who knew Doreen would know how important family and friends were to her. She was a wonderful woman and she has left behind a legacy in her family of kindness and caring. She will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure to have spent time with Doreen out at the lake house.... We enjoyed doting over Doreen and her gal pal Anne on our lake front deck, chatting and laughing it up. Doreen & Anne always gussied up for their visit, colorful blouses and lipstick to match.
