ANNE GRACE HAMEL (nee ASCOLI) On Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Victoria General Hospital, Anne Grace Hamel (nee Ascoli), aged 81 years entered into eternal rest, peacefully, with her children at her side. Anne Hamel valued family above all else and for all that had the honor of knowing her, she will be dearly missed. Preceded by her husband Henry Hamel in 1979, Mrs. Hamel is survived by three sons, Brian (Anne-Marie), David (Lorraine) and Henry (Lora); two daughters, Joyce and Cindy (Matthew); seven grandchildren, Brad, Melanie, David, Thomas, Daniel, Tyler and Cody and one great-grandchild, Kendal. Prayers will be said on Friday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Road, Father Carl officiating. Interment and friendly gathering to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Anne's memory may be made to Parkinson Society Canada.
