  • Dad- I don't know how to say goodbye. There are so many things I wish I would have said. I thought we had so much time left. I drive into town and I still look for your truck, I walk in the bar and my eyes go right to your spot. I will miss so many things about you that you didn't know that I loved. I can't believe I'll never see you again, never hear you laugh and say I love ya girl. I hope you knew how much we all loved you and somewhere up there you are smiling and laughing with all of those you joined in heaven. forever in my heart - your daughter - Posted by: Lori Laporte (daughter) on: Feb 05, 2015

  • I've known the Hall family since the 1970's. (best friends with George and Dianne) Some of the best visits in their Lansdowne Ave. home was when Freddy would be there. I have fond memories of times spent in Fred's company. We went on many fishing trips together with George and George Sr. One of my fondest memories was the summer we spent several weeks in Anola, moving a house from Winnipeg to Wieser Cres. Good times! I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences go out to his children, family and all the people who will deeply miss this good man. • Fred was a very kind and special person. He talked to all he met and made them feel included. Fred had interests in life that are too numerous to mention. Fred started to repair rifles, even one that was a paddle for a canoe, he worked on it for a month and made it into a very beautiful workable gun. Fred recieved many a joke on this and he always would tell me wait and see. His last project was getting ready for the summer, he bought a fifth-wheel camper and just purchased a truck to pull it. He was all smiles at what his plans for camping and in the fall for hunting were going to be with his brothers and close friends. We were lucky to have such a friend in our life. Our hearts and our sympathy go to his children whom he always talked about and was always smiling when asked how his grandbabies were. Fred always had time to clear snow for others or go cut grass at one special friend's home. To many he was Fred but to many of us he was a very special man. May God bless him kindly like Fred did others. We will miss you Freddy, lots of love Rachel and Murray. Till we meet again. - Posted by: Rachel Mustard and Murray Leonard (A special friend) on: Feb 04, 2015
