ANGELINE JULIETTE FAUCHER Angeline Juliette Faucher (née Proulx) Paisiblement entourée d'amour et sa famille à ses côtés, Angeline est décédée mercredi, le 28 janvier, 2015 à Villa Youville à l'âge de 92 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Henri (Cynthia Maclean), Henriette (Garnet) Trist, Claude (Laurette Laurin), Jeanne (Benoît) Boily, Paul (Joanne Lagimodière), sa belle-fille Phyllis Drouillard, 14 petit enfants, 30 arrière-petit enfants. Maman fût précédée dans la tombe par son mari, Didius Faucher en 1991, fils Robert en 1960 et Marcel en 2013, sa belle-fille Louise Faucher (née Fontaine) en 1996, gendres Arthur Trudeau en 2008 and Clément Boily en 2003, son père David Proulx en 1959 et sa mère Amanda Hupé en 1983, ses soeurs, Irène Gagnon en 1993 et Emilia Harrison en 2010, un frère Georges Proulx en 1946. Maman was born in Ste. Anne, Manitoba on December 2, 1922 to David Louis Proulx and Amanda Exilda Hupée. On September 19, 1939, she married Didius Faucher. They farmed on the west side of Ste. Anne, MB. In June 1944, they moved to Richer, MB where they raised their family of five boys and two girls. They spent 52 beautiful years together. Maman was totally devoted to her family. She was always ready to listen and offer advice or encouragement to her children and grandchildren. Bedtime for us children included songs and bedtime stories that would keep us in suspense but always turned out wellkind of like Walt Disney movies. Maman was a hard worker, courageous and strong both physically and emotionally. Her devotion to the Virgin Mary in times of sorrow as well as in times of joy was unwavering. The last three years and 10 months of Maman's life were spent at the Villa Youville. The family would like to thank the Villa Youville staff for the compassionate care given to Maman during her stay. A special thank you to Soeur Irene Rioux and Soeur Céline Vermette for the attention, love and understanding with which they showered Maman. A video tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. Reverend Father Gabriel Levesque presiding. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date in the Paroisse de l'Enfant Jésus Parish cemetery in Richer, Manitoba.
