Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Bill, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I always enjoyed our short visits when she shopped at Safeway. While my mom, Mary Arnason, was also living at Betelstadur the three of us would sometimes sit and have a chat. - Posted by: Wendy Furst () on: Feb 10, 2015

  • I will always remember Mrs. Wainwright as a kind and gentle person. She always made Sunday school fun and interesting. I remember many Christmas Concerts at First Lutheran and the great memories. She had also taught my sister Shannon and my brother Bill. Both my parents were from Lundar (Helen & William) there was always that close bond with the Lundar connection. She was a great lady and will always be remembered fondly. My condolences from my whole family she will be missed. - Posted by: Lynne McGibney (nee Erickson) (Sunday School Student) on: Feb 09, 2015

  • What I remember best about Aunt Elinor was her delicious dainties she would always make. Too bad I did not get to see her once Victor died. I used to get to visit her in the nursing home. Sorry to hear of her passing. Love to the family. - Posted by: Sandra Jordan (Wainwright) (neice) on: Feb 07, 2015

  • So sorry for your loss. May memories keep her close to your heart. Whenever I drive by Valour Rd I always look for the house. I can still hear the sound of her voice and we have not talked for quite a few years. It was always awesome to get a Christmas card from her. Thinking of all of you.
