MARY MARTHA PUTNAM Mary Putnam was born May 24, 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Daughter of William Blair and Martha Maude Putnam (nee Morrison). Mary is survived by her sister Carolyn Ellis of Fonthill, Ontario and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Audrey Austin, and brothers Stephen Putnam and James Putnam. She attended Norwood Schools, and the University of Manitoba (B.A.). Mary worked in Ontario for a short time and eventually became profoundly deaf and returned to Winnipeg. She lived in the Deaf Centre Manitoba. The family wishes to thank all those who worked with Mary at the Centre and those who volunteered their time in the community to help Mary.
