ALMA BOCKRANDT (nee ILGERT) May 1, 1921 - February 8, 2015 Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Alma Bockrandt went home to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by her husband and son, and is survived by her daughter, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Alma immigrated to Canada in 1952 showing great strength throughout all the hardships in her life, raising two children as a war widow. She worked tirelessly to support her family and, after retirement, her greatest pleasure was to work in her garden. She leaves behind a testament of faith and perseverance for us to cherish. While she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and church congregation, we are comforted to know that she is finally at rest. Services to honour her memory will be held at the Concordia Church of God, 705 Concordia, on February 13 at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made to the St. Boniface Hospital in lieu of flowers.
