AUGUSTINE ABRAHAM (nee VERMETTE) C'est avec grande tristesse que les enfants d'Augustine Abraham annoncent le décès de leur chère maman, grand-maman et arrière grand-maman le 6 février 2015. Mom was predeceased by her husband Joseph-Emile, sons Denis, Hervé and Guy; brothers Jean-Marie, Donat, Alfred, Lucien, Antoine and sisters, Estelle Tellier, Elise Tellier and Irène Lagimodière. She is survived by daughters Diane (Erik) Pajak, Carmelle, Suzanne (Fernand) Dion, Claire, Ginette and Angèle Abraham, sons Jean (Melody) and Maurice (Paulette), 33 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; sister France and numerous relatives. Mom also raised her niece Kathleen (Roger) Gaborieau. La messe des funérailles sera célébrée le lundi 16 février 2015 à 10h en la Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface avec visionnement une demi-heure avant le service. Private interment will take place in the Ile-des-Chênes Cemetery alongside her husband and three sons. The family would like to thank the following staff members from Actionmarguerite-St. Vital for their ongoing kindness and love of our mom: Danielle from recreation services; Hilda, the health care aide on the second floor and Renée, a nurse on the unit. Rest in peace to a lovely lady, always kind and generous. My happy memories of youth were enjoyed partly as a guest in her home and she always found room for us in the car to attend Mass.
