Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) SWINTON June 6, 1922 - February 12, 2015 At the age of 92, Betty passed away at Concordia Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are son Bob; daughter Joan; sister-in-law Irene Rothwell, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Dave. Betty was an active member of the C.W.L. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Her flower and vegetable garden was admired by everyone. The funeral will be held Friday, February 20, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bert Boonstra, David Lishchynski, Ed Lishchynski, Mike Lishchynski, Al Newman and David Rothwell. Thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their excellent care. Condolences to you all during this difficult time. Growing up across the street from Betty's beautiful garden was a special thing. As a gardener myself now I am truly astounded by the care and dedication Betty had for that sacred space. Her warm smile and bright eyes will be remembered.
