Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUDOLPH SCHINDLE May 30, 1935 - February 19, 2015 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Rudolph Schindle on Thursday, February 19, 2015. He was and forever will be cherished in our hearts as the father and grandfather of our family. Born May 30, 1935, he raised loving children, Shellie Sklepowich (Peter), Sandra Evinger (Les), Darlene Schindle, Darrell Schindle (Cheryl) and Shannon Schindle. He will be missed and forever lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Elaine; and grandchildren, Amanda, Jeffrey, Adam, Katrina, Tyler, Selena, and Hayley. He is survived by sisters, Hilda and Olga; and brothers, George (Jane) and Stanley (Shirl); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and the many friends that surrounded him. Waiting for him in Heaven are his parents, Michael and Elsie Schindle. Dad was born in Camper, Manitoba. He met and married the love of his life Elaine (Simon) in 1959. Their marriage was filled with a special love, honour, and respect. Dad was a precious, caring, and loving father. Rudolph had a love of the farm and especially the land and animals that roamed it whether tame or fowl, our farmer! He was truly our angel here on earth. We were always amazed by his strength and his love of his family. Dad always went the extra mile for his family and we are grateful for that most beautiful quality, it was a hug or a kiss (numerous) and normally fifty dollars in our pocket but with love and tender caring always. The family wishes to thank the First Responders and Emergency staff at Concordia Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment will be held at Camper Cemetery this Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE 204-339-5555

Aunty Elaine, Shellie, Sandra, Darlene, Darrell, Shannon and all your family. I am very saddened to hear of Uncle Rudolph's passing and I am so sorry for your loss. The best memories of my youth are those of us "on the farm" and so many of them visiting you! I remember jumping on haystacks, milking cows and gathering (and breaking) eggs. I remember Uncle Rudolph's "farmer tan", his smile, his strength and his patience. I remember him in the hay field drinking tea from a mason jar and sitting at your kitchen table playing cards. These memories make me smile and I hope knowing that he left so many memories for so many people help you in this hard time. Know you're in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Rudolph and I shared the birthday of May 30 so I always thought of him as being my older twin. I shared many happy weeks with him during the birth of most of his children. We had some great laughs as Sandra was a little girl who liked to get herself into trouble and we had to rescue her.
