• My deepest condolences to Shannon and family. Peter has been a very close friend of mine for the past 45 years. I even knew him in our earlier lives as we both grew up in the north end. Peter was a dedicated family man and did all he could to take care of his family. He was also community minded and coached hockey and promoted the police hockey team; sometimes at the risk of putting him in the doghouse with Shannon. His goal and dream was to be a policeman. He was very knowledgeable in policing and on many subjects relating to police work and beyond. He loved being a "cop" and was good at his job. Peter was a good will ambassador for the police department and was a wonderful representative of the police department in establishing relations with the public at large.
