JOSEPHINE JOYCE GRUZA Peacefully after a life well lived Mom passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the Pine Falls Hospital two months before her hundredth birthday. For the last ten years Josephine has lived with and been lovingly cared for by her daughter, Lorraine and son-in-law, Robert Kozub at White Mud Falls, MB. She is also survived by her son, Ed and daughter-in-law, Joan Klamot of Arborg, MB; grandchildren, Ralph and Sharon Kozub, Dale Kozub, Darcy and Roxanne Kozub, Cindy and Garth Herman, Kristine and Chad Nagy; ten great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; as well as by many nieces and nephews especially Linda, Sharon, Dale and Randy who she helped raise. She was predeceased by her son, Herb (1966) and all her siblings. Born April 29, 1915 in Prudhomme, SK she moved to Arborg in 1948 with her three small children, later moving back to Prudhomme to help her family there. Mom worked very hard all her life and she especially got great pleasure from her huge vegetable gardens. There was never a weed to be found. She actively participated in gardening well into her nineties as long as her health allowed. Even when she couldn't garden herself she was always ready to give advice. A Service of Remembrance and Interment will take place at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Chumber and the staff of the Pine Falls Hospital for their care of Mom and for being so kind to us. • Dear Lorraine, Robert, Dale, Mason, Hollie & Abby, Darcey, Roxanne & family, Ralph, Sharon & family. We are very sorry for your loss & our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time. Joyce was a wonderful woman who loved a good joke (except the water hose thing) & was always up for a game of hola which I never got to claim a victory. She'll be in good company as I know there are a few hola players in heaven & all I have to say to them look out as the champ is on her way. Take Care, Lots of Love & Hugs Bernice, Roy & family - Posted by: Bernice & Roy Okaluk & Family (Family Friends) on: Feb 25, 2015
