I was saddened to hear news of his passing. I will cherish the opportunity to have worked with Bob and think of him more as a friend than just a work associate. Never will I forget his sense of humor, his great stories, and most importantly his laugh. My heart goes out to you Sandy and Katie, he was one of the good guys, and he will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Matt Trickett (Friend) on: Feb 27, 2015

I was shocked and saddened when the news came of Bob’s sudden passing. I send most sincere condolences and comfort to dear Sandy and the Murray clan. Although my contact with Bob and Sandy was very limited after we moved east, I do smile recalling many happy times, back in the day. Partnering with Bob in the Charley, winning beers from lesser shuffleboard players, a myriad of fun times and one wild ride all come to mind. Bob and his brothers covered virtually all the social scenes in young Charleswood and were respected with affection. A month of pneumonia prevents me from travel, but this afternoon I will raise a glass to Bob, Sandy, family and friends in celebration of his life. - Posted by: John Sprague () on: Feb 27, 2015

Dear Sandy and family, our hearts go out to all of you during this sad time. I fondly remember when Bob first came into your life, Sandy...you giggled like a school girl after a very long lunch with him and brought him back to Christy's Green to introduce him to your staff...we could see how happy he made you and all of us girls were so happy for you! Many years have passed now and you and Bob joined together in the good times and the bad times always finding the best in everything. We were very shocked to hear of Bob's passing and still so very young. I will pray you find strength and peace as time passes Sandy, hold tight to those you love and help each other through your sadness. Our thoughts are with you. My friendship with Bob started when we grew up together on Chalfont Road and we remained the best of friends for over six decades. We spent a lot of time together when we both lived in Calgary and frequented our special meeting places (Primo's) and special times like our road trip to Penticton in his Corvette and an unscheduled overnight trip to the pool hall in Cardston (500 yards inside the American border) When Bob returned to Winnipeg our friendship continued and only got better when we were introduced to Sandy. From our many trips to Winnipeg, to rod runs and and to our very special times in Radium - oh we had fun! Bob and I spoke a minimum once a week with him calling me toll free of course. Linda and I are devestated with Bob's passing and would give our right arm to be there for his celebration. Please know our thoughts and sympathy are with you Sandy and family. Sending you hugs and our best wishes. Love Karl & Linda - Posted by: Karl and Linda Wilson (Life long friend) on: Feb 25, 2015
