He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Agnes Sessions and his brother Ivan. He is survived by his son Jason and daughter Melanie. After attending school in Sperling he was employed in Winnipeg, Winkler, at Sperling Seed Plant and since 2001 at Sperling Industries in the shop maintenance department. Bill could always be seen on his daily walks through town, or having coffee at the arena. He also enjoyed bingo nights and the various community events. He always looked forward to chatting with everyone and keeping up with the latest news. A man of few words, Bill always truly appreciated all the kind gestures shown to him from his friends in town. Betty and Albert, and Marion and Alfred and their families would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all those who have expressed their concerns and helped in many ways. Your kindness and support means so much to us as well. Cremation has take place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Sperling Arena on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Rest in Peace Bill Doyle's Funeral Home in care of arrangements. www.doylesfuneralchapel.com

I am sorry like others to hear of Bill's leaving us. Bill, like others have noted, was a gentle and kind man. Bill and I every other year would share centre stage or should I say the back row for our school pictures. I remember walking home from school, for how long that actually lasted from the school to our house (first house next to the school) and I remember him like a gentle giant. He was surprisingly talkative even though often he came across shy. I am sorry that I did not attend but only found out late this afternoon that his gathering of family and friends was this afternoon. To his children, know that he was a really good person. Another gentle soul leaving us. Our family was a friend of all the Sessions families in Sperling and we appreciated their quiet, gentle ways. I have not seen Billy for many years but remember him with a very friendly smile and he was always very shy. We are thinking of the family left behind to tidy up all the details that one has to take care of at this time and we hope that you are able to share some good laughs along with the tears that will no doubt come as you remember Billy. Take Care from, Sheila (Killeen) Kaminsky, and husband Douglas & the Killeen family. - Posted by: Douglas & Sheila Kaminsky (family friend from the good ole days in Sperling.) on: Mar 09, 2015

Billy lived his own life the way he wanted. He walked thousands of miles like his Dad but spoke to all those he met on his way. Thanks to all those that kept an eye on him, esp. Harold & Russ, also Betty & Ab. May u have found your peace & rest. - Posted by: Gail Holmes (Cousin) on: Mar 01, 2015
